Furlan Williams are a Rotterdam-based duo comprising:  Furlan Felter, a singer/songwriter/producer with deep African roots;  and Danny William, a songwriter/producer of English/Irish descent.  Both are multi-instrumentalists.

The combination of their heritage and spirits sparks a powerful new energy.  Eclectic soul, mixed with meditative gospel, afro beat, freak folk and sprinkles of the late, great Jay D behind the mixing table.  Hypnotic beats and compelling melodies laced with rich vocals form their trademark sound.

For their live act they have put a high voltage band together, crackling with energy and attracting some of the most talented young musicians around.

They will be dropping tracks and an album soon so watch this space.

Review of live show Paradiso:

 

Furlan Williams en zijn band. Onder begeleiding van geweldige baslijnen, een getalenteerde gitarist en strakke melodieën van twee toetsenisten, trekt Furlan een ieder op vrolijke wijze door de rust heen. Furlan weet het publiek binnen no-time in beweging te krijgen en trekt hiervoor alles uit de kast. Tijdens het laatste nummer, Concrete Jungle, verzoekt hij de lichtman alle lichten uit te doen, puur voor de sfeer. Nadat eerst alle lichten aangegaan zijn, lukt het de zanger uiteindelijk toch om alle lichten uit te krijgen en in de donkere zaal weten Furlan en zijn band de zaal naar ware extase te brengen.
